Want to double check what I have with you to see if it will work! I have a 2007 Intel 2 duo core 2.4ghz 24" imac. I have the original Apple custom imac load grey CDs / 2-3 it came with..OS X 10.5.3 with an additional black lepard "update" cd..(I black update disk only) for 10.5.6. Question is will this disks work with loading onto my iBook powerpc G4 1.33ghz with OS X 10.3.9 ? And if so the right process for loading multiple discs onto the partition for lepard..10.5.3 (2) and update 10.5.6 (1 black disc). Thank you.. I think there is something wrong with your DMG file. You should try different one. Also can you tell us your Mac Mini's exact model(Powermac 10,1 or 10,2 - or Intel)?Gökhanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17095313941213146993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6799255615872467998.post-46257972707275354232013-07-19T17:57:59.867+03:002013-07-19T17:57:59.867+03:00Hello. I'm trying to upgrade a mac mini to 10....Hello. I'm trying to upgrade a mac mini to 10.5 with a .dmg file. I followed your instructions, but when I restarted the computer, I saw the blue screen with the 2 arrows along with the 10.5 installer. I selected the installer and then the right arrow, which brought me to the installation window. At that time I received an error saying that I need to have 10.4 installed before it will do the installation of 10.5. Prior to partitioning the hard drive I had done a completely new 10.4 installation on the mini. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6799255615872467998.post-20632618732263133252013-05-27T13:12:50.186+03:002013-05-27T13:12:50.186+03:00Hello. After you make the partitions, you say you closed iBook G4, then reopened it with ALT "Option". What does that mean? Closed iBook means Shutdown? Did you need to copy anything over to the 8GB Partition? Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
